FAQ
What factors do I need to consider when shopping for a forklift?
You should consider the following factors when shopping for a forklift:
How much weight will you need to lift?
How high will the forklift need to lift?
What type of surface will the forklift be used on?
How frequently and for how long will the forklift be used?
How much are you planning on spending on the forklift?
What is the difference between the available types of motors?
Forklifts use either internal combustion or electric motors. There are different types of internal combustion engines to choose from, such as gas and diesel. Internal combustion motors are more powerful and can be refueled anywhere. Electric motors have fewer moving parts and emit no emissions. Electric motors require less maintenance, but they do have to be returned to the charged for an 8-hour charge period each time that the battery runs out. Determining which motor ultimately depends on where and how you plan on using the forklift.
